| Mission |
We are non-governmental and non-profit organization, established for provide various kinds of social services around Polonnaruwa District in Sri Lanka. The Organization activities are completely supported by volunteers. No volunteer charges any money for their services. |

| Objectives |
- Poverty alleviation and eradication of hunger
- Provision of the basic needs (water, health, sanitation) for people in distress
- To help patients suffer from the kidney and heart diseases
- Provide help to develop roads in village area.
- Implementation of civil education
- programmes for eradication of illiteracy
- Establish a Vocational Training Center (for school leavers)
- Establish a Training Institute for IT (Especially for childrens from poor families).
- Rehabilitation programs for disabled and old-aged people
- Establish an International Media School.

The organization is working to obtain its objectives through various methods, namely:
- Planning and implementation of various developmental programmes and projects
- Cooperation with others NGOs, Social Services and institutions that have similar objectives
- Implementation of training programmes which may help in realizing the objectives of the organization
- Cooperation with overseas institutions that have same objectives
- Encouragement of voluntary activities and widening the base for voluntary work

- Master Degree of Social Sciences (Political Science - University of Kelaniya. Sri Lanka)
- Following a Diploma in Law.

Mr. Gamini Ratnayake, Founder of Isara Social Service, was born in November 1959 in a respectable family. After college education he has selected to the University. He has completed his degree at Peradeniya university and also completed his Master's degree and diploma programmes.
In 1991 he has moved to Hingurakgoda in Polonnaruwa District. After that he married in 1993 and his wife is a School teacher. Mr. Gamini Ratnayake presently working as a staff member of Duputy Minister of Land and Land Development.
This close political relationship helps to his social services and therefore he has established the "Isara Social Service" to help to people in Polonnaruwa District, which is near to Eastern part of Sri Lanka. |

He has a very clear Vision and works hard to fulfill that with Volunteer members of ISS. He expects to study Law or Homeopathy Medical Science to help to patients, who has paralysis or diabetic illnesses. |
